Monday, January 16th, is Martin Luther King, Jr Day, an observed federal holiday. This means most financial institutions, government agencies and others will be closed.
Included in the list of closures are
* the US Post Office — no mail delivery
* City Hall
* Ferndale public schools
* Ferndale Public Library
Not closed and operating under normal schedules and routes
* Sanitary Service Company (SSC)
* Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA)
* most retail and professional service businesses
