WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — As of 6:30am this morning, Wednesday, November 30th, Whatcom County schools and others have announced the following due to snow and ice on the roads in much of the area.
- Bellingham Schools – no announcement
- Bellingham Christian Schools – no announcement
- Assumption Catholic School – no announcement
- Ferndale School District – no announcement
- Lummi Nation School – no announcement – already scheduled to be a half-day
- Blaine School District – 2-hour delay. There will be no AM preschool and no AM out of district transportation.
- Meridian School District – no announcement
- Lynden School District – no announcement
- Lynden Christian Schools – no announcement
- Nooksack Valley School District – on time, Reese Hill Road, Minaker, North Pass, and South Pass buses on snow routes – students can meet the bus at the bottom of the hill at the similar pick-up time if able
- Mount Baker School District – on time, Kendall, Maple Falls, and Glacier buses will be on snow routes
- Bellingham Technical College – no announcement
- Whatcom Community College – no announcement
- Western Washington University – no announcement
- Whatcom County Library System – no announcement
- Whatcom Transportation Authority – no announcement
No announcement is typically an indication of normal hours and operations.
