FERNDALE, Wash. — The 2021 WSU Whatcom Master Gardener Foundation’s Annual Plant Sale will again not be held at Hovander Homestead Park this May as is normally the case for this popular event. As was done last year, they will be holding the plant sale online sale beginning at 9am on Sunday, April 25th and continuing through noon on Thursday, April 29th.

The online sale will include tomatoes, vegetables, bonsai, dahlia tubers, daylilies and sedum baskets.

Anyone interested in making a purchase is instructed to visit the Plant Sale information page after 9am, April 25th. Purchases will be available to be picked up via a “grab and go” at Hovander Homestead Park on Friday, May 7th, and Saturday, May 8th.

Annual Plant Sale proceeds fund WSU Whatcom Master Gardener projects and activities each year. Master Gardeners of Whatcom County call this event their biggest fundraiser of the year.

The annual event has drawn large crowds in years past with many lined up awaiting the opening of the gate.
