As reported earlier, W Smith Road and E Smith Road are scheduled for striping work today, Monday, August 13th, and tomorrow, Tuesday, August 14th, between the hours of 6am and 6pm. Whatcom County Public Works officials request drivers use alternate routes when possible on those days since long delays can be expected.
Officials request all vehicles parked on or in the right-of-way along W Smith Road and E Smith Road be removed before 6am on both scheduled dates due to the scheduled work.
