WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — The following list of road closures is current as of noon, November 18th, according to Whatcom County Public Works, Washington State Department of Transportation and local municipalities.
While effort is made to ensure complete reporting, it is likely to be roads not on this list that should be. Motorists are advised not to drive on roads with water and debris over the roadway.
- Cherry Street (SR9) between the border crossing and Vancouver Street
- Reese Hill Road (SR547) between Bishop Road and Telegraph Road
- Clearbrook Road between Swanson Road and Nooksack Road
- Van Buren Road between Clearbrook Road and E Badger Road
- Lindsay Road between Trapline Road and Van Buren Road
- 9600 block of Silver Lake Road (north of the lake)
- Mosquito Lake Road between Canyon Lake Road and Porter Creek bridge
- Flynn Road north of River Road
- River Road south of Flynn Road
- Gillies Road south of Alm Road
- Goshen Road between Salakanum Way and Roberts Road

- N Fork Road near Kenney Creek bridge
- Turkington Road west of Valley Highway
- Valley Highway (SR9) at Hathaway Lane

- Lake Whatcom Boulevard between Lake Louise Rd and Cain Lake/South Bay Rd
- Northbound I-5 on- and off-ramps at Iowa Street (Bellingham)
- Beach Avenue at Cedar Avenue (Lummi Island)
- Seacrest Drive at Cove Avenue (Lummi Island)
- All roads leading to/from the Lummi Peninsula are closed including
Haxton Way north of Kwina Roadand Lummi Shore Road- UPDATE 12:15pm – Whatcom County Public Works has conditionally opened Haxton Way. Lummi Nation is operating a pilot car/flagging operation to accommodate one lane of traffic. Public Works will continue to monitor the situation.
