About 1pm, Nooksack issued the following advisory.

The latest forecast indicates little change in the expected crest of the Nooksack River tonight into early tomorrow morning. Based on current conditions, Main Street/Columbia Street (between Everson and Nooksack) is expected to overtop between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm today. When water begins crossing the roadways, these roads will be closed to all traffic! Additional closures are anticipated for Tom Road, Lindsey Road, Van Buren Road and E Badger Road. Please do NOT attempt to drive around gates or road closure signs-they are in place for your safety.

At this time, minimal evacuations are expected in the Nooksack area. If evacuations were to occur it will likely be in the areas of West Nooksack in the cul de sacs (Harrison Ln, Westview Pl, Amareen Ct, Jackson Ct, Dennison Wy). All other areas we recommend residents shelter in place. If the situation changes, we will promptly notify the community.

Thank you for your cooperation and please stay safe.
