City of Ferndale staff will be holding a street name dedication ceremony today beginning at 12:30pm in the Samuel’s Furniture parking lot.
The event is to commemorate naming of the private roads adjoining Main Street to the north and south on behalf of two Ferndale world-war II veterans and heroes, Dick Stone and Joe Moser. The private roads will be known as Dick Stone Lane (to the north) and Joe Moser Lane (to the south).
No traffic impacts are expected during the ceremony according to city staff.
