The Nooksack River has been rising all day as a result of heavy mountain rains yesterday and today. It was reported to have reached the 16-foot mark when the announcement was made.

The river is expected to crest at 19.4 feet at about 8am tomorrow.

An interactive map of current Ferndale area road impacts due to the flooding is available on the MFN Traffic Page.
