**CANCELED** Silver Alert: missing 73-year-old Skagit County man

Canceled 8:40am – Officials report the subject was located in the Seattle area.

Skagit County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Silver Alert regarding a missing 73-year-old man last heard from at 12:30am this morning, Monday, June 1st, after leaving his residence yesterday afternoon.

Marc Krandel, age 73, left his residence in the 2300 block of State Route 9 in the Lake McMurray area in a green 2001 Subaru Outback (WA lic: AYG436) yesterday at approximately 4:30pm on his way to downtown Mount Vernon. He suffers from cognitive issues, that may be undiagnosed dementia, that he takes medication for.

He indicated by phone that he was in North Bend and lost at 12:30am. A “ping” (electronic location) of his phone at 4am indicated he was in the Bothell area.

Neither Bothell nor North Bend Police have been able to located the subject or his vehicle.

Krandel is described as a white male with brown eyes and silver hair weighing 235 pounds and is 6-feet tall. He has a scar from behind his left ear that extends to his chin. He was last seen wearing a blue and white plaid shirt, white Levi pants and grey and green athletic shoes.
