The Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance to help locate a missing man who suffers from dementia.

Gail Smith, age 76, is reported to have left a residence in Malott, Washington around 5:45pm yesterday, August 14th in a silver 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe with Iowa plates and has not returned.

Smith is 5 foot 8 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds and has white hair and brown eyes.

He may be driving a silver 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe with an Iowa handicap license plate IZ578.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of this person is asked to contact the Okanogan Sheriff’s Office at (509) 422-7232 or call 9-1-1.
