CUSTER, Wash. — First responders were dispatched about 8:30am on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, to the northbound lanes of I-5 by the Custer Rest Area due to reports of a rollover semi-truck rollover crash.
Initial Washington State Patrol radio reports from the scene said this was not an injury crash. The trailer was carrying about 80,000 pounds of food product.
The right lane was being closed due to the crash. As of 9:15am, no significant traffic back up was reported and no estimate was available for reopening the lane.
