FERNDALE, Wash. — Whatcom County Public Works crews contracted by the City of Ferndale are expected to return to striping center and fog lines around Ferndale on Wednesday and Thursday this week, August 28th and 29th. The previously scheduled work was abruptly halted by an unexpected rain event Friday.

Work is expected to begin at 6am on both days according to an announcement today from city staff.

Crews will work on roads south of downtown on Wednesday.

Crews will start Thursday at 6am on Main Street and continue on roads to the north of downtown. Work on Main Street is expected to occur between 6am and 10am.

Parking will be prohibited on Main Street during the time the work is scheduled. “No Parking” signs will be placed on Main Street to warn drivers of the parking restrictions.
