Police: Children missing out of Wenatchee found dead, searching for father

WENATCHEE, Wash. — A recent Washington State Patrol endangered missing persons alert issued on May 31, 2025, was canceled without explanation on June 2, 2025.

Today, June 3, 2025, the Wenatchee Police Department issued a press release stating that the 3 girls, ages 5, 8 and 9, were found deceased yesterday.

The father’s empty vehicle was located west of Leavenworth on Icicle Road near the Rock Island Campground. The girls’ bodies were located during a search of the area. The father was not located.

A search is on for the girl’s father, Travis Decker, age 32. Warrants have been issued for his arrest for 3 counts of 1st-degree murder and 1st-degree kidnapping.

Decker is described as weighing about 190 pounds, 5-feet 8-inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a light-colored shirt and dark shorts. He has extensive military training and should not be approached.
