This year voters will be asked to choose 4 of the 7 City Council positions. This article, second in a series, will look at the three candidates running for the #4 seat on the council.
Position #4 has three candidates vying for that seat so there will be a primary election in August to bring this down to two candidates who be on the general election ballot in November.
Paul Ingram is the incumbent (currently holds the position on the council) and he is running for re-election. Challenging Ingram are Matthew Durkee and Teresa N. Taylor.
Discover Ferndale asked each candidate to answer a few questions to help you, the voter, to better understand
- the position they are running for
- the issues they expect to encounter
- why they feel they are equipped to address these issues
