BELLINGHAM, Wash. — About 9am today, November 15th, the Washington State Patrol (WSP) reported all northbound lanes near the Nulle Road interchange were closed due to “Several trees down and a partial mudslide onto the road.”
Approximate location of road closure
About 10am, officials with Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) said all northbound lanes remained blocked, maintenance crews were on scene and there was no estimate for when they may be reopened.
Update 10:50am – Both lanes of northbound I-5 have reopened according to WSP.
Both northbound and southbound lanes were previously closed earlier today after trees fell into the lanes bringing down power lines.
