EVERSON, Wash. — First responders were dispatched about 6:55am, Thursday, June 8th, to the intersection of E Pole Road (SR544) and Coleman Drive in Everson due to reports of a car versus bicyclist crash.

Approximate location of the crash

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, the bicycle was eastbound (northbound through that section of road just outside Everson) on the shoulder of the road when it was struck after a 2013 Nissan Frontier pickup truck traveling the same direction crossed onto the shoulder.
