Officials at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) conducted a test of the Wireless Emergency Alert system (WEA) and Emergency Alert System (EAS) today beginning at 11:18am.
Now Washington Emergency Management Division officials want to know who received the messages and, perhaps more importantly, who didn’t.
Washington residents are asked to participate in a short survey (click the link to participate in the survey) regarding today’s broadcasts. It asks whether you encountered the smartphone message or the broadcast alert via TV or radio.
