It is not every day a group of colorfully-dressed dancers are seen performing by the fountain in Ferndale. But that is exactly what many saw as they drove past on Main Street earlier this week.
According to the group’s organizer, Bertha Reta, Chicas Reinas was there for a promotional photo shoot. You can see more of Chicas Reinas performing on July 22nd at the Lynden Fair, July 24th & 25th at Pioneer Days and again on September 5th at Fiestas Patrias in Ferndale.
Reta is probably best known for her custom tailoring talents offered from her store on Main Street at Colima Design.
