“Clock Tower” to get clock faces

The “clock tower” residence at 2147 Main Street will soon be able to live up to its name, sporting clock faces in the tower alcoves.

According to building owner and builder Art Rojsza, the clock faces are graphics, not actual mechanical clocks, complete with the minute and hour arms set at 10:04. Rojsza points out this is the time of the all-important lightning strike on the Hill Valley clock tower in the movie, “Back to the Future.” He also noted 10-4 is military and law enforcement radio-speak for “everything is okay.”

The clock tower building process has placed Rojsza and the City of Ferndale in court several times over the past few years, the last appearance having been in September 2016. There are no future court dates scheduled as Rojsza continues to complete the structure under the most recent court-ordered requirements.
