Customers to Cedar’s Restaurant & Lounge, located at 2019 Main Street, get to enjoy their food and drinks alfresco thanks to the completion of a large exterior patio.
The large patio is able to seat 30 and provides a view of downtown Ferndale and Mount Baker. Manager Alex Pantoleon said he has heard nothing but good things from customers about the patio since it opened last Thursday. When asked what prompted building it, Pantoleon said Ferndale was in need of outdoor dining and the response from customers proved it.
Pantoleon is planning on mounting outdoor TVs in the future, especially for sporting events, when the weather permits. He said the southern exposure will increase the number of days customers will be able to enjoy the outside dining experience.
The full restaurant menu is available from the patio which is part of the upstairs lounge area.

Click for more informationThe patio expansion follows a recent update to the restaurant’s menu, which had not been changed in 10 years according to Pantoleon. Before changing the menu, he asked customers what they wanted to see added or changed. Once the new menu was designed, about 50% of the items were from the previous menu and several new items were added. Customers have appreciated the menu and no further changes followed said Pantoleon.
