Nooksack man and woman arrested for suspicion of vehicle theft, robbery and assault on Aldrich Road

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — On October 22, deputies responded to the 4900 block of Aldrich Rd for a report of a motor vehicle theft involving an assault.

As previously reported by Whatcom News, the victim arranged to meet a man at a Meridian Street retail store to look at a car the victim was selling.

While they were test-driving the car, the man pulled the vehicle over and told the victim to get out of the car. The man punched the victim in the head and continued punching the victim. A woman pulled up and began hitting and kicking the victim. The victim said one of the suspects put their hands around the victim’s throat and restricted the victim’s airway.

The man drove off in the victim’s vehicle, and the woman drove off in her vehicle.

The investigation identified 57-year-old David Jackson and 58-year-old Blanca Jackson, both of Nooksack, as suspects. Deputies located a vehicle matching the description of the one leaving the crime scene in the Jacksons’ driveway.

Probable cause existed to arrest David and Blanca Jackson for 1st-degree robbery, 2nd-degree assault, and theft of a motor vehicle. On October 25, 2026, both were reportedly arrested and booked into the Whatcom County Jail without incident.
