Slater Road traffic in both directions will be detoured via Main Street in Ferndale.

As of 12:20pm, the southbound on-ramp from Slater Road and the right lane of the southbound mainline lanes were blocked.
The road was closed November 18th for emergency culvert repairs.
A pilot car/flagging operation will alternate the flow of traffic through the 1 open lane of Haxton Way.
Motorists are advised not to drive on roads with water and debris over the roadway.
City crews were out this morning removing road closure signs in the evacuation zone.
Still closed are Slater Road and Marine Drive.
There is still some work to finish this week that may require occasionally closing a lane.
The northbound lanes remain closed with no official detour route available.
