FrinGe Brewing officials announced this week they will be opening the brewery and tasting room on Tuesday, March 19th.

The taproom, located in the former Ferndale police station at 5640 3rd Avenue, will have seating for over 70 guests with the brewing equipment in full view.

Hours will be 3pm to 10pm Tuesdays through Thursdays, noon to 11pm Fridays and Saturdays, noon to 8pm on Sundays and closed on Mondays.

Great news. Let’s hope the proprietors work hard to earn the business of Ferndale’s residents. With luck, they won’t follow the lead of some Bellingham brewpubs with their obvious contempt for the paying customer and holier-than-thou attitudes.

Earn our business and you will prosper. And for God’s sakes, KEEP DOGS OUT.

Outside seating? Something for the kids to watch while walking home from school? Was this considered when the permit was approved? Central Elementary is less than one block from this new brewery?

They’re drinking liquid out of a glass cup. It may take months but the children will eventually overcome the horrors of it.

Hey, Debbie Downer, relax…… it’s just a few friends sharing a laugh in the sun while sipping a cold brew.
      Happy for my Ferndale friends.😊

Note: Main Street Bar and Outlaws are also only a block from Central Elementary. It would be interesting to know if FrinGe will maintain a family friendly policy as many of the craft brewers do.
