BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Following 3 lockdown incidents over the past 4 school days, Sehome High School administrators have chosen to cancel classes tomorrow, December 9th, “to give our staff time and space to get in a better position to support our students when school resumes on Friday.”

The third of the 3 incidents occurred today. Administrators announced about 6pm today that classes tomorrow had been canceled.

There will be no school at Sehome tomorrow, Thursday, Dec. 9, to give our staff time and space to get in a better position to support our students when school resumes on Friday. Coaches will communicate updated information about athletics.

Sehome will be open and on a regular B day schedule on Friday, Dec. 10. On Friday, we will have two Bellingham Police Department officers on site at Sehome for the school day, and additional counselors will also be at school to support our community. We understand that some families may choose to keep their child home, and we ask that you call or email the school to excuse them.Sehome High School (December 8, 2021)
