UPDATED: About 200 Affected by Power Outage in West Ferndale

Puget Sound Energy, Ferndale Fire and Ferndale Police responded to a report of a “power problem” shortly after 4pm. A tree was found to have fallen and took out power lines in the 2400 block of Douglas Road.

PSE estimated over 200 customers were impacted by the outage.

Update 9:25pm
Neighbors and PSE reporting power has been restored.

Update 5:20pm
PSE cut the power to the downed lines to eliminate the hazard. They are now working to restore power. They estimate power will be restored by 6:30pm.

Update 5:45pm
PSE is now estimating power will be restored closer to 10:30pm tonight.
