BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Officials with Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) issued a correction this afternoon to earlier advisories that warned of lane closures on W Bakerview Road. The correction said the work planned that would have required lane closures is not occurring this week.
In the meantime, work on the cement retaining wall on the right shoulder of the I-5 northbound lanes north of the W Bakerview Road interchange is expected to continue beginning Thursday, June 10th, at 7pm through Friday, June 11th, at 7am, WSDOT officials said.
This work is part of a project to construct a new northbound I-5 on-ramp at the W Bakerview Road interchange, according to WSDOT officials.
