FERNDALE, Wash. — The National Weather Service Seattle office issued a wind advisory this afternoon, March 27th, forewarning of a wind event tomorrow.
The advisory message says to expect sustained southerly winds of 25 to 35mph with gusts to 45mph between 9am and midnight tomorrow. Winds are expected to become westerly in the afternoon and peaking in strength in the evening.
The advisory applies to western Whatcom, San Juan and western Skagit County and the Admiralty Inlet area.
UPDATE 4:30am 3/28/2021 – The advisory has been updated to expect westerly sustained winds of 30 to 40mph and gusts up to 50mph.
