Wind advisory issued for western Whatcom County

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — The Seattle office of the National Weather Service (NWS) today, Tuesday, February 27th, issued a wind advisory for the western Whatcom and Skagit County regions.

The advisory warns of sustained southerly winds of 25 to 35mph with gusts up to 45mph expected.

The advisory period is from 4am to 7pm tomorrow, February 28th.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. National Weather Service (February 27, 2024)
