FERNDALE, Wash. — The National Weather Service Seattle office this afternoon has issued a Wind Advisory for Friday, October 9th, between 2pm and 8pm.
According to the alert, sustained south winds of 25 to 35mph with gusts to 50mph are expected in western Whatcom, Skagit and San Juan Counties.
With winds this strong, power outages resulting from downed trees and tree limbs are a possibility.
