Vehicle vs pedestrian collision results in closing section of Old Fairhaven Parkway

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — First responders were dispatched about 2:45pm on Thursday, November 9th, to the area of Old Fairhaven Parkway and 14th Street due to reports of a pedestrian or bicyclist versus vehicle collision.

Law enforcement at the scene reportedly closed the road between 14th Street and Donovan Avenue.

The PulsePoint EMS dispatch log service reports at least 1 patient had been transported from the crash site via a medic unit which typically is used to provide advanced life support (ALS) protocol.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area for the time being.

The road was reportedly reopened about 3:40pm.
