WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — First responders were dispatched to the area east of the Mission Road and E Smith Road intersection about 12:40pm today, April 27th, due to a report of a single-vehicle crash.
The crash involved a pickup truck towing a trailer containing horses. There were no reports of injuries, human or horse. Another horse trailer had to be brought in to transfer the horses to.
E Smith Road was closed between Mission Road and Sand Road for just over an hour as a result.
Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office was investigating the crash.
