Traffic Alert: Expect impacts due to work in the Griffintown area and VanderYacht Park

We stumbled across a couple notices the City posted to Facebook that we thought the community would want to know about.

Some sort of work is scheduled tomorrow on the median strips along 2nd Avenue through Griffintown between Washington Street and the Portal Way and southbound I-5 roundabout. City staff say to expect occasional delays as the Public Works crew maneuvers equipment around the work area. No mention of what hours the work and potential delays will be happening.

Also tomorrow morning, the north parking lot at VanderYacht Park will be getting its annual maintenance. City staff advise parking along the south end of the park during this work as the north lot will be closed.
