The Ticker – September 8, 2015

Not everything that happens in and around Ferndale ends up in a story. “The Ticker” is where you can find those items, answer the question, “why am I hearing sirens?” and get early info on breaking news while the story is being written.

• 1:30pm An accident involving two cars occurred on Lummi Island near the ferry terminal. Injuries reported.
• 7am A semi overturned into the median on I-5 southbound between the Samish Way and Fairhaven Parkway interchanges.
• 7am A hit-and-run vehicle accident was reported at Alder and Mountain View Roads. Law enforcement were looking for a blue 1990s Chevrolet pickup.
