Not everything that happens in and around Ferndale ends up in a story. “The Ticker” is where you can find those items, answer the question, “why am I hearing sirens?” and get early info on breaking news while the story is being written.
- 2:20pm Aid units were called to assist an injured person in the 5800 block of Malloy Ave.
- 1:15am Law enforcement were called to the El Nopal parking lot on Portal Way. There was a report of a fight breaking out with 20 people in the parking lot. A white male in his 20s had put his fist through a window. The situation was reported as under control by a Whatcom County Sheriff Deputy just a few minutes after arriving.
