Not everything that happens in and around Ferndale ends up in a story. The daily “Ticker” story is where you can find those items, answer the question, “why am I hearing sirens?” and get early info on breaking news while the story is being written.
- 4:50pm Aid was dispatched to assist someone with a leg fracture on the field at Vista Middle School.
- 11:55am Ferndale police were pursuing a subject on foot in the area of 3rd Avenue and Main Street. Unsure why or the result of the pursuit.
- 10:15am A semi truck turning left from Main Street onto Hovander Road took out the street sign on the island. Reported to police as a hit-and-run.
- 9:15am Police responded to complaint of a neighbor pulling down their fence with their vehicle.
