Today’s morning commute – weather – events. Right here in Ferndale.
8:30am: Good morning. Temperatures are in the high 50s around Ferndale under cloudy skies. Ferndale got a bit of heavy rain just after 7am as a small system passed by from the northwest to the southeast so perhaps we have already achieved the forecast 20% of rain for the day.
TRAFFIC
The Washington Street between Vista Drive and 3rd Avenue remains closed to through traffic at least until September. The official detour route is via Vista Drive and 3rd Avenue.
I-5 roadwork between Ferndale and Blaine has been suspended over the long Canadian/US holiday weekend and is scheduled to resume Tuesday night. Heads up! Main Street on- and off-ramp closures are planned for next week.
