The initial numbers are in. Some positions and measures are easy to say will go one way or another while others could still go either way.
The position of Mayor of Ferndale could definitely go either way as Jon Mutchler currently leads Cathy Watson but with only a 41 vote lead.
Keith Olson appears to have defended his position on City Council from Glenn Stewart with 65% of the vote. But Teresa Taylor is leading incumbent Paul Ingram for his council seat but only by 31 votes.
Ferndale Mayor Gary Jenson’s run for the Port of Bellingham District 3 Commissioner position has him trailing Bobby Briscoe who has 55% of the votes. But, that may be too close to call.
