Popular characters from the big screen and a retired NFL quarterback will be on hand to make Friday’s event as much of a family activity as a food drive.
The local Miracle Food Network along with several local sponsors are making it easy and fun for the community to stuff a school bus full of donated non-perishable food destined for the Ferndale Food Bank at an all-day event this Friday.
According to the organizers, the community is invited to drop off non-perishable foods in the Samuel’s Furniture parking lot on Main Street where a Ferndale school bus will be located to hold all the donations. In addition, there will be appearances by local professional sports star, Jake Locker, and the Snow Queen and her Snowman. There also well be an opportunity to get your face painted and enjoy some treats.
