Striping work expected to impact I-5 traffic through Whatcom County today (Weds.)

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. — The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) announced this morning, Wednesday, September 13th, that a striping crew will be working in both the northbound and southbound lanes of I-5 today doing striping work.

Work is planned on the 33-mile stretch of I-5 between the D Street/Peace Portal Drive interchange in Blaine and the Nulle Road interchange near the Whatcom-Skagit County line.

Delays may be significant as this is a slow-moving operation. Washington State Department of Transportation (September 13, 2023)
