SKAGIT COUNTY, Wash. — Work on the Samish River Bridge deck overlay project will result in lane closures overnight beginning Monday, July 25th, through Thursday, July 28th.

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) officials say WSDOT contractor crews will be removing and replacing expansion joints while replacing the top portion of the deteriorating bridge deck with a new polyester deck overlay.

Travelers are advised to allow extra travel time and expect speed limit reductions through the work zone. There will also be a 12-foot-wide load restriction in place.
