Snow arrives south of Bellingham, brings traffic impacts

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Motorists on I-5 between Burlington and Bellingham are encountering blowing snow this morning, Tuesday, February 22nd. Several non-injury crashes were reported to Washington State Patrol in both the northbound and southbound lanes by 5:30am.

As of 5:30am, slick roads were being reported while temperatures were in the mid-20s with localized precipitation.

Traffic maps indicated slower speeds between Bellingham and Burlington with much slower speeds in the area of Bow Hill.
