Whatcom County Public Works reopened Slater Road this morning about 7:30am. It had been closed due to water over the road since early yesterday. Public Works officials say drivers can expect to encounter water over the roadway for a few more hours but the road “will be passable to regular traffic.”
Some other road closures are expected to the lifted today. These can be monitored at the MFN Traffic Page.
