BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) contractor crews will close the right lane of northbound I-5 at the W Bakerview Road interchange beginning at 7am today, July 14th. The lane will be closed 24 hours a day until 7am on Friday, July 16th.
The closure is to enable construction of a new I-5 northbound on-ramp at the W Bakerview Road interchange.
The left lane and W Bakerview Road interchange on- and off-ramps will remain open during the lane closure.
WSDOT officials warn drivers to expect delays while the lane is closed, especially during peak travel times.
