FERNDALE, Wash. — First responders were dispatched to the 4800 block of Haxton Way about 4:45pm on Friday, January 23, 2026, due to report of a motorcycle vs vehicle serious injury crash.
About 7:10pm, the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement stating that Haxton Way is closed in both directions and can be expected to be for several hours. Traffic detours are in place.
The road was reportedly reopened about 9pm.
