Mount Baker, Wash. — First responders were dispatched about 1pm today, May 21st, due to a report of a motorcycle versus truck crash near the top of the Mt Baker Highway.
Washington State Patrol Trooper Rocky Oliphant said the motorcycle hit a patch of loose dirt or gravel in the road and the rider laid it down. The motorcycle skidded into a Ford F150 pickup truck.
The motorcycle rider suffered only minor injuries and the motorcycle had to be towed from the scene. The pickup was able to be driven away and the occupants were uninjured.
No citations were given by WSP.
Yesterday, another motorcycle rider crashed while passing in a no passing zone and was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
