BELLINGHAM, Wash. — First responders were dispatched about 6am, Sunday, June 25th, due to reports of a residential fire in a manufactured home community at 4015 Eliza Avenue.
According to the Bellingham Fire Department, firefighters arrived to find a mobile home fully involved in fire. Fire had spread to a nearby tree and adjacent vehicles.
Witnesses reported a tall dark plume of smoke that was visible from miles around.
The building and contents were considered a total loss.
There were no reports of injuries, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
American Red Cross Northwest Region responded to assist the displaced family.
