RECALL: BRP Can-Am Ryker motorcycles

Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) is warning owners of certain 2022 Can-Am Ryker motorcycles manufactured between February 25, 2021, and July 5, 2022, not to drive them.

BRP is recalling (PDF) more than 9,300 motorcycles with a handlebar stem bolt that may break suddenly, leading to loss of steering control and increase the risk of a crash.

In May 2022, BRP received 2 reports of broken bolt while riding. 1 of the 2 resulted in a loss of control and the driver had a sprained ankle.

BRP recommends that owners stop riding their vehicle until the recall repair is performed.

Owners are encouraged to immediately contact their authorized BRP Can-Am On-Road dealer to schedule an appointment to have a free repair performed on their vehicle. The repair will take less than 1 hour to complete.
