Power outage hits east Ferndale neighborhoods and beyond

FERNDALE, Wash. — Puget Sound Energy reports a power outage hit some east Ferndale neighborhoods and beyond about 7:45pm today, August 16th, impacting 2,938 of their customers.

As of 7:55pm, the estimate for restoring power was 10pm and no cause for the outage was given.

Update 8:40pm: Power has been restored for 263 PSE customers. Estimate for restoring power to all remains at 10pm. No cause has been identified.

Update 8:45pm: A total of 877 PSE customers now have had power restored. Estimate for restoring power to all remains at 10pm. No cause has been identified.

Update 8:55pm: All but 855 PSE customers have had their power restored. Estimate for restoring power to all remains at 10pm. No cause has been identified.

Update 9:10pm: PSE is reporting all impacted have had their power restored. No cause was given for the outage.
