One of the first impacts of the Washington Street improvement project underway across Main Street to the north will be a temporary loss of water pressure by residents along sections of Douglas Road, Poplar Drive and Tamarac Place (see map below) tomorrow, Wednesday, May 16th.

According to an announcement from the City Public Works department today, the temporary water shut-off is the result of waterline improvements being made as part of the Washington Street improvement project.

Public Works officials say to expect water service to be unavailable between 9am and 5pm.
