Many government agencies have chosen to cancel events through the end of the year citing health safety concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, but what about Halloween?
Some ideas are being suggested to continue the traditions of handing out candy to costume-wearing kids and putting up sometimes elaborate and scary decorations. Ideas include
- leaving candy outside amidst yard decorations for trick-or-treaters to pick up
- neighborhood and group trunk-or-treating where kids go trick-or-treating from car to car
- reverse trick-or-treating where people in cars throw candy to kids in costumes in their yards
