Poll: What are your Halloween plans?

Many government agencies have chosen to cancel events through the end of the year citing health safety concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, but what about Halloween?

Some ideas are being suggested to continue the traditions of handing out candy to costume-wearing kids and putting up sometimes elaborate and scary decorations. Ideas include

  • leaving candy outside amidst yard decorations for trick-or-treaters to pick up
  • neighborhood and group trunk-or-treating where kids go trick-or-treating from car to car
  • reverse trick-or-treating where people in cars throw candy to kids in costumes in their yards

To see what families in the Ferndale area in general are planning, please respond to the following questions.

Skip the first question if your household does not include kids who would normally go trick-or-treating.
